Do You Need Financial Aid for the Summer Bridge Program?
- Most Summer Bridge students receive some financial aid. Apply as early as possible.
- All Summer Bridge students must complete the 2014-15 and 2015-16 FAFSAs before registration.
On-line financial aid application process: Go to www.pin.ed.gov where student and parent each apply for a PIN number. Then go to www.fafsa.ed.gov. Complete the FAFSA, and sign it electronically using your PIN numbers.
Paper application process: You may obtain a paper FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at www.federalstudentaid.ed.gov.
- You or your parents must complete two different FAFSA forms to get financial aid for summer and fall:
For Summer 2015 financial aid, you and/or your parents will need to complete the 2014-15 FAFSA form, using 2013 tax information.
For Fall 2015 financial aid, you and/or your parents will need to complete the 2015-16 FAFSA form, using 2014 tax information.
